Legacy Crafts is a family arts and crafts business for the production and sale of high quality items. The name "Legacy" and our logo is in honor and memory of the heritage of talent, ambition, independence, ideals, and craftsmanship that we feel passes from one generation to the next.... through Corlett ancestors from the Isle Of Man who settled in Ohio, to the North Carolina branch that expanded to Eddins, Winters, and Roy. If you recognize the plaid in the background of this page, please send an e-mail.... we may be related! Over the past 11years, we have progressed from a card-table display at local craft shows to three-day craft shows with up to200 square feet of display, open house exhibits, consignment agreements with a chain of stores, and now here we are on the web! Karen has been a member of the Potters Council and the Foothills Arts Council. Her pottery entry, "The Hoble", received an "Honorable Mention" award in "Images 2003", the Foothills Arts Council juried art show. Her pottery also won blue ribbons at the 2006 and 2007 NC State Fairs. Gayle's Celtic Knots also won blue ribbons at the 2006 and 2007 NC State Fairs.
Our crew includes Gayle, the seamstress; Karen, the potter; Angela, the general assistant; Laura, the jeweler; and a host of in-laws for the heavy stuff. Browse through the whole site, send us an e-mail, and recommend us to all your friends!
